All-time Dark Mode plugin for Safari, simply could exist better

This is hands-down the best Dark Mode Plugin for Safari. Compared to the other plugins I've tried, the quality of the rendered page is only worlds better in Night Reader. Very skilful results.

Nonetheless, this extension could be beter. While Night Reader permits the use of domain-specific overrides, there is currently no way to modify settings for a sub-page on a site. Too, information technology costs $v, which is a lot considering this same plugin is free on other browsers, and the fact that the Safari version has a more limited feature fix. I'one thousand willing to excuse this to a certain degree because the market for like extensions on Safari is not very competitive right now. Plus, I'm willing to bet that the Safari version follows a divide development track due to the way Apple structured things.

Essential quality of life extension

I have a vision issue which causes dark text on light backgrounds to exist difficult to read at times. I've used Dark Reader on desktop browsers for some time, but on iOS and iPadOS I needed to use Safari's Reader style or system-broad Capsize Colors. They worked, but each method has its ain drawbacks.

I'grand very happy to see this brand its way to Safari in iOS xv, and likewise that my purchase of the Mac version carried over to the iOS version. (I was prepared to pay the full price again without hesitation.) This version is somewhat less configurable than the desktop extensions (replacing the static/dynamic/sepia filters with a palette of color themes) but the core part works merely as well.

My only complaint is that if any other extensions are active, it takes extra taps to activate Dark Reader (one time to telephone call up the extension menu, then again to change Dark Reader settings), but I presume that's an OS limitation.

You had me at Vader

Seriously, you had me at the cool Vader icon. I love having it up at the superlative of the browser. Equally an extension, information technology works only as well equally Night Eye, only better in many means. Outset, the one time price is cheaper than a monthy/yearly greedy developer--so thank you for that. I love that you lot can make it disabled by default for whatever new sites I visit but so quickly enable information technology if I want. As well, it but works. I have the latest Large Sur and Safari and there are no issues unlike Dark Centre who's settings I had to keep restarting the extension to run across.

The only suggestion I have that would make the app meliorate is to be able to control the effects sliders (effulgence, contrast, filtermode toggle) on a per-site basis. Currently they become practical to all sites which isn't platonic in near circumstances.

And finally, the icon. This 1 is the all-time I've tried of all the night way Safari extensions out there. Just get information technology!
